Dr. Ellen Ramsey

Dr. Ellen Ramsey is a seasoned educator and administrator with over three decades of experience in higher education. As an Associate Professor specializing in leadership and management, she is dedicated to cultivating an engaging and inclusive learning environment for both undergraduate and MBA students. Her teaching portfolio includes courses on business strategy, leadership, and management, with a strong focus on fostering critical thinking and strategic problem-solving skills.
Dr. Ramsey also serves as the Academic Administrator for adjunct and online faculty within the College of Business and Management at Lynn University. As the chair of the Teaching Excellence Committee, she is also deeply involved in faculty development, ensuring that faculty are equipped with the tools and support needed to excel in their teaching roles. Ellen also plays a key role in organizing professional development sessions that create opportunities for meaningful collaboration and engagement across the university.
Dr. Ramsey obtained her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership (Corporate Leadership track) in 2001 and is also a certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM), leveraging this expertise to lead innovative initiatives and teams. Currently, Dr. Ramsey is serving as the primary investigator for a campus-wide study with 12 colleagues on the topic of Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education: A Case Study of Faculty Teaching Methodologies at Lynn University.
In addition to her academic endeavors, Ellen is the founder of Silver Lining Coaching and Consulting, LLC, where she provides leadership coaching and consulting services for individuals and organizations. Her firm focuses on helping clients navigate challenges, optimize performance, and achieve their goals by harnessing diverse perspectives as well as empowering women in leadership.
